HoneyHoneydew honey, also known as "royal honey", has a several times higher content of bioelements than nectar honey.

Bees produce it from the sweet secretion of pine needles and tree branches, thanks to which honeydew honey is distinguished by its dark colour and slightly spicy aroma, and its taste is enhanced with a hint of bitterness.

Honeydew honey is rich in enzymes, dextrins, antibiotic substances and bioelements, including:

  • iron
  • zinc
  • copper
  • boron
  • calcium
  • magnesium
  • potassium
  • manganese
  • molybdenum

Honeydew honey can enrich your diet with vitamins such as B, A, C and K. The glucose content in this honey is twice as high as fructose, which makes the honey less sweet than nectar honeys.

Compared to nectar honey, honeydew honey contains almost twice as much nitrogen compounds, such as amino acids and enzymes. It is also distinguished by its high content of anthocyanins, tannins and essential oils.

Honey is an excellent sugar substitute and can be used to sweeten coffee, tea or desserts. It is also used as an ingredient of natural cosmetics such as ointments, masks and scrubs.

It is worth remembering that honey retains its valuable properties when we add it to dishes and drinks at a temperature lower than 55 °C
