HoneyLight yellow or orange, creamy colour and floral aroma, as well as sweet taste are the characteristic features of dandelion honey. Despite the widespread occurrence of dandelion, honey obtained from it is difficult to obtain.

It is called May honey because it is in this month that the dandelion blooms and the bees collect nectar from it.

Bees use most of the nectar for their own use, which is why it is difficult to obtain larger amounts of unique dandelion honey.

Dandelion honey contains a rich set of vitamins and minerals, including:

  • B vitamins
  • vitamin C
  • potassium
  • mangan
  • iron
  • phosphorus

Additionally, dandelion honey contains numerous active compounds, including proteins, carotenoids, triterpenes and choline.

Honey is an excellent sugar substitute and can be used to sweeten coffee, tea or desserts. It is also used as an ingredient of natural cosmetics such as ointments, masks and scrubs.

It is worth remembering that honey retains its valuable properties when we add it to dishes and drinks at a temperature lower than 55 °C
