NOW UC-II® contains powdered chicken cartilage with undenatured type II collagen and an extract from the thallus of the red marine algae. Collagen is one of the most important natural biopolymers. It occurs in all connective tissues (skin, tendons, cartilage, bones, membranes) and is the main component of the extracellular matrix. The product is manufactured to the GMP standard.

Ingredients (other): Extract (inorganic fraction) from red sea algae (DER 1.4: 1); chicken cartilage powdered in a low-temperature process; capsule material: cellulose; subst. filling: microcrystalline cellulose; subst. stabilizing: potassium chloride; subst. anti-caking: stearic acid, amorphous silica.
No allergens or ingredients were used in the production process: yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans and tree nuts. Manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility that processes ingredients of other products containing these allergens.
How to use: Take 1 capsule a day before bedtime, on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. It is important to eat a balanced diet and lead a healthy lifestyle.
