      L-citrulline is a naturally occurring endogenous amino acid. Although L-citrulline does not participate in protein synthesis, it performs several functions in the metabolism of amino acids and proteins. L-citrulline is involved in the formation of urea in the liver. The synthesis and removal of urea are essential elements of the body's process of getting rid of toxic products of protein metabolism. In addition, L-citrulline facilitates the synthesis of muscle tissue proteins and helps maintain their proper balance.

      Ingredients:  L-citrulline, calcium (from calcium carbonate), bulking agent: cellulose, acidity regulator: magnesium oxide; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable source).
