Omega-3 acids protected by Astaxanthin.

NKO™ is a synergistic combination of essential unsaturated fatty acids, phospholipids and antioxidants.

The main phospholipid contained in the oil is phosphatidylcholine. This ingredient, which is a form of lecithin, is a very important nutritional element for the brain. In order for our body to properly process supplemented phospholipids, they must be associated with the appropriate type of fat that the body cannot synthesize on its own. Such fats are OMEGA-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (docosahexaenoic (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic (EPA).

NKO® (Neptune Krill Oil) is a combination of phospholipids with OMEGA-3 acids in a form found nowhere else in nature. Antioxidants are necessary to maintain the level of OMEGA-3 fatty acids necessary for humans, and NKO® already contains them: including the strongest of them - astaxanthin - a xanthophyll pigment.
