Buffering vitamin C involves the use of two forms - L-ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate. This form of vitamin C is characterized by increased bioavailability and lower acidity, so it does not irritate the digestive system/stomach, unlike the traditionally used L-ascorbic acid itself.

Buffered vitamin C  LIPOSOL™ Vitamin C 1000 TM  has been enclosed in liposomes. Liposomes are small lipid particles (spheres) that are formed naturally when water comes into contact with lecithin. Liposomes are easily absorbed by the body. When vitamin C dissolves in water and mixes with lecithin, the process of liposomal encapsulation occurs. The result is better absorption of vitamin C in the blood and directly into cell membranes.

Ingredients:  water, vitamin C (sodium L-ascorbate, L-ascorbic acid), binder (glycerol), emulsifier (lecithins (sunflower)), stabilizer (maltitol syrup), vitamin E (DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate).
