Vitamin D 2000 IU is a dietary supplement designed to help support the proper functioning of the immune system and muscles, as well as maintain healthy bones.

One small capsule contains as much as 2000 IU of vitamin D. It is a daily dose of this vitamin intended for adults (in accordance with the recommended dosage in the population of healthy people and in groups at risk of deficits - guidelines for Central Europe 2013).

Vitamin D has many important functions in the body:

- helps in the proper functioning of the immune system,
- plays an important role in maintaining healthy bones,
- helps in the proper absorption / use of calcium and phosphorus
- supports the maintenance of an adequate level of calcium in the blood

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin and only in this form it is absorbed by the body. In the product Vitamin D 2000 IU has been suspended in sunflower oil, thanks to which it is easily absorbed and can be taken regardless of a meal.

Vitamin D is commonly called the sun vitamin because the body can produce it itself under the influence of UV radiation. However, due to the limited exposure to the sun and the use of sunscreen, this synthesis is disturbed. Therefore, Experts recommend vitamin D supplementation throughout the year.
