PrenaCare ®  START for women  is comprehensive support for women planning a pregnancy. The product contains ingredients recommended by  the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians  (PTGiP) : vitamin D and folic acid in the form of active folate. In addition, the composition has been enriched with additional nutrients that have a beneficial effect on fertility and proper reproductive functions, help maintain hormonal balance and proper homocysteine ​​levels, restoring the body's balance at such an important stage of life for every future mother.

1.  Replenish folate deficiencies

In the product, we used only one, the most bioavailable form of folic acid in the form of 5-MTHF folate  Qauatrefolic® , in the highest dose of 800µg/capsule. Folian  Quatrefolic ®  is immediately active and ready for action! It does not need to be first converted to an active chemical form, as is the case with traditional folic acid. Therefore, it supplements the level of folates in the body immediately after taking it, and its high bioavailability has been confirmed by numerous studies.

2. Increase the body's immunity and bone mineralization

Pregnancy is a time of increased demand for vitamin D, which contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system and also supports the skeletal system, which is particularly vulnerable to overload and demineralization during this period. Each PrenaCare ®  START capsule  for women  contains 2000 IU of vitamin D, in the form of easily absorbable, natural cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).

3. Get your homocysteine ​​under control

Too high homocysteine ​​levels during pregnancy may adversely affect both the mother and the developing child, contributing to serious fetal defects. Therefore, before the planned conception, it is worth ensuring that the level of this undesirable ingredient in the body is low. PrenaCare ®  START for women  provides a set of synergistically acting ingredients that help maintain proper homocysteine ​​metabolism - vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate), vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and active Quaterfolic ®  folate .

4. Improve libido, fertility and reproductive function

PrenaCare ®  START for women  is also an activity aimed at improving sexual functions, facilitating the conception of a child. A high dose of 10 mg  of zinc  in the highly absorbable, organic form of  zinc picolinate  helps maintain proper fertility and reproductive functions. In addition, the product provides high doses  of natural vitamin E  (D-alpha-tocopherol),  PABA  (para-aminobenzoic acid) and  inositol  in the most favorable proportion of myo- and D-chiro-forms, equal to 40:1.

Inositol, PCOS and pregnancy planning

It is estimated that 5% to 10% of women may be affected by polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which is one of the most common causes of menstrual disorders and infertility in women.

Inositol, as a naturally occurring ingredient in the body, is involved in many metabolic processes. It is, among others, a precursor of phospholipids, which are responsible for the production of important intracellular signals within the oocyte, i.e. the precursor of the egg cell, and its sufficiently high concentration in the body is correlated with the quality of the resulting egg cells.

Both isomers -  myo-inositol  and  D-chiro-inositol  - occur in the body and remain in mutual balance. According to the latest scientific research, due to the different functions that each isomer performs in the body, the most beneficial solution for women planning pregnancy is supplementation of both forms of inositol (myo / D-chiro) in a ratio of 40:1.

PrenaCare® START, as one of the few products intended for women planning pregnancy, has been enriched with a high dose of easily absorbable inositol, while maintaining the optimal ratio of myo- and D-chiro-isomers of 40:1. This, combined with other carefully selected active ingredients, makes PrenaCare® START an effective and innovative preconception supplementation proposition.

If higher doses of inositol are needed, we also recommend additional supplementation with Aliness Inositol 650mg (myo/D-chiro 40/1).

Pregnancy and iron

Pregnancy is a period of increased demand for iron, which is associated with the possibility of anemia. On the other hand, supplementation of this microelement is not necessary in every case, and taking it in excessive amounts may even be toxic to the body. For this reason, according to the current recommendations  of the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians , the need for iron supplementation should be determined individually and preceded by appropriate tests ordered by the doctor supervising the pregnancy in order to determine the appropriate dose of supplementation and whether it is necessary at all. If iron supplementation is necessary, we recommend the product Aliness Organic iron in the patented form of MicroFerr® 25 mg.

Pregnancy and iodine

Pregnancy is also a period when a woman's body may need larger amounts of iodine. However, according to official data, approximately 10% of women suffer from autoimmune thyroiditis, i.e.  Hashimoto . However, unofficially it is estimated that Hashimoto's problem actually affects up to 40% of women, and many of them may not even be aware of it. Iodine supplementation in the course of this disease may require different doses than those recommended for healthy people, and the decision to take supplementation should be considered individually, after appropriate diagnostic tests and after consultation with a doctor.

Due to the above reasons, the formula of PrenaCare ®  START for women does not contain iodine or iron.

The lack of iodine and iron in the product makes it possible to individually select these elements and therefore the product is safe for people suffering from allergies and autoimmune diseases, including: hashimoto.

Ingredients:  myo-inositol (inositol), para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), D-alpha-tocopherol (natural vitamin E from sunflower seeds), D-chiro-inositol, zinc picolinate (zinc), pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6), glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid (Quatrefolic® folate), cholecalciferol (vitamin D) methylcobalamin (vitamin B12); capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (binding agent).

Recommended daily dose  necessary to obtain the beneficial effect of the product :  1 capsule a day. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day.
