Broad-leaf lavender oil (Oleum Lavandulae latifolia) is a natural product with numerous certificates confirming the quality, purity and organic nature of the product. The plants from which the oil is extracted come from certified organic farms in the north-west of the Murcia region in Spain.

Broadleaf lavender oil (but also Spanish oregano oil, also available in our store) is produced in a small, family distillery with a 70-year tradition, where the secrets of oil knowledge are passed down from generation to generation. The oils are extracted in traditional distillation pots, which distinguishes them from oils produced using typical industrial techniques.

This family-owned Spanish distillation company has obtained many certificates in organic farming, including: ISO 9001 quality certificate or kosher certificate for high-class organic essential oils. The company constantly improves its distillation processes and spares no expense in research activities, constantly improving the techniques of growing oil plants.

Broadleaf lavender oil has a wide range of medicinal properties, including: antibacterial, antifungal, analgesic, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, decongestant, expectorant, immunostimulant, antioxidant and antiparasitic (lavender is a known moth repellent).

Broadleaf lavender essential oil  is extracted from the flowering tops of Lavandula latifolia. This variety of lavender deserves attention because it also contains camphor, which is effective in relieving the symptoms of respiratory ailments, such as cough, bronchitis, asthma or allergies.
