Curcumin + Phospholipids
Curcumin is a fat-soluble molecule. By combining the curcumin molecule with a phospholipid, it mimics the way nature intended for curcumin to be absorbed and metabolized. Curcumin thus achieves a 29 times higher bioavailability than conventional curcumin and can cross cell membranes better to get into the cell interior. The patented curcumin phospholipid has already been tested in over 30 clinical studies with more than 2000 participants.
Curcumin products are often offered in combination with piperine (black pepper extract) to improve bioavailability. However, this can lead to drug interactions 1 . Curcumin phospholipid does not require the addition of piperine.
