Colostrum, also known as colostrum or young milk, is obtained from cows' milk. Colostrum is a substance secreted by the mammary glands of mammals in the last stage of pregnancy until several dozen hours after delivery. It has a characteristic yellow color. Its composition is different than milk obtained later. These differences particularly concern nutritional values and immunoglobulins (also called antibodies).

Colostrum Aliness is a mixture of many ingredients with different physical, chemical and biological properties, it is a source of 19 exogenous amino acids, it contains immunoglobulins, especially IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, IgD and PRP (proline), lactoferrin (a protein from the transferrin group) and vitamins and minerals.

The content of vitamin ingredients  - mainly B1, B2, B6, C, E and A.

The content of minerals  - mainly phosphorus, calcium, potassium, magnesium and sodium

The composition of colostrum changes with time after delivery. The amount of proteins decreases in favor of sugars and lipids, which constitute energy material.

There is lactose (milk sugar) in colostrum, but its content is much lower than in later milk. However, it is sufficient to provide a source of energy for organs and tissues and to regulate the composition and activity of intestinal microflora (as a result of the breakdown of lactose into lactic acid).

However, the amount of milk sugar in colostrum collected within a few hours after delivery is so small that it should not cause digestive problems in people suffering from lactose intolerance.

Colostrum should also not be used in children under 3 years of age due to potential allergies to milk proteins.

Colostrum Aliness is colostrum derived from the highest quality milk. The content of immunoglobulins is calculated as the content in dry matter, not in proteins, which constitute approximately 60% in colostrum.
