Shilajit is a concentrated form of prehistoric plants that have been subjected to centuries-old processes of humification (decomposition and synthesis).

Shilajit seeps from cracks in mountains and can be found mainly in the Himalayas, the Caucasus, the Altai and other mountain areas. The word Shilajit means – “conqueror of mountains and slayer of weaknesses”. Shilajit has been used in eastern medicine for over 3000 years.
