Our best-in-class immune support formula goes far beyond vitamin C, with standardized extracts of echinacosides, reishi mushrooms, lactoferrin, propolis, which support healthy immune cell responses and proportions.

Formula for the aging immune system – Benefits:

  • It inhibits the aging of the immune system by supporting an already healthy ratio of virgin T cells to memory cells.
  • Promotes a youthful immune response by stimulating the development and activity of immune cells.
  • Stimulates the body's first line of defense by promoting natural killer (NK) cell responses
  • Supports the health and longevity of the bone marrow

Doctor Life's Cordyceps Immunity formula was created in response to the increasing number of cases of weakening of organisms as a result of excessive stress, inappropriate diet and hygiene of life, and thus more frequent attacks of viruses, bacteria and fungi. Take proper care of your immunity in the autumn and winter season and do not succumb to attacks by viruses and bacteria!

Cordyceps (Chinese cordyceps), the main ingredient of the preparation, is a unique mushroom naturally occurring in mountainous regions of Asia at an altitude of over 3,000 m above sea level. It has been known in Chinese medicine for hundreds of years as a strengthening agent, adding energy and improving the efficiency of the immune system. It contains a number of health-beneficial compounds, the most important of which is cordycepin.

Cordycepin is responsible for its unique health-promoting properties, including: influencing repair processes at the cellular level and having antiviral effects. Cordyceps stimulates immune system cells, T lymphocytes and macrophages, and supports viral and bacterial infections. It is known that it affects the activation of NK cells (natural killers) and causes the growth of T cells.

The composition of Cordyceps Immunity has been enriched with substances known for their immune system activating properties, such as propolis, echinacea, lactoferrin and Reishi.

Propolis  is a substance that has been known for many years to support recovery. Thanks to the content of antioxidant polyphenols (standardized to 12% in Doctor Life Cordyceps Immunity), flavonoids, phenolic acids and other important substances, it can influence various phases of immune system activation, e.g. increasing the expression of cytokines, production of antibodies and the activity of macrophages eliminating pathogenic microorganisms.

Propolis has a destructive effect on bacteria and viruses, in the first stage it damages their cell walls, in the next stage it attacks the genetic material and leads to complete disintegration. The antibacterial effect of propolis should be considered on two levels. Firstly, it involves a direct effect on microorganisms, and secondly, it involves the stimulation of the immune system resulting in the activation of the body's natural defenses.

Propolis affects the permeability of the microbial cell membrane, causing disruption of the membrane potential and the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and reducing bacterial motility. According to estimates, up to 300 substances found in propolis have biological activity. Artepillin C present in propolis, for example, has anti-inflammatory effects mediated by modulation of NF-kappaB and inhibition of prostaglandin E(2) and nitric oxide.

The authors of many scientific studies indicate that propolis should be administered simultaneously with antiviral drugs and even vaccines to strengthen the body's immune response. Recent studies indicate that propolis may be considered as an adjunctive therapy against coronaviruses causing, among others, SARS-CoV-2, mainly due to the inhibitory effect of PAK1, thereby generating immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects.

Propolis successfully eliminates many symptoms of respiratory diseases, without any side effects. In the face of increasing resistance of pathogens to antibiotics and other therapies, it is a great hope and an alternative in the supportive treatment of many serious diseases with a visible reduction in immunity.

The synergistic ingredient of the  Echinacea purpurea formula  acts as an immunoregulator and antioxidant. Chemical analysis data show that echinacea contains seven groups of medically important compounds, including polysaccharides, flavonoids, caffeic acid derivatives, essential oils, alkylamides, and polyacetylenes (Cozzolinoa et al., 2006).

E.purpurea prevents viral and bacterial infections and prevents the growth of cancer cells (Lee et al., 2010). The immunoregulatory effect of E. purpurea involves stimulation of T cell production, phagocytosis, lymphocyte activity, cellular respiration and inhibition of the secretion of the hyaluronidase enzyme. Its non-specific action is achieved by affecting macrophages, granulocytes and leukocytes.

Polysaccharides from echinacea E. purpurea protect surrounding tissue cells against bacterial and pathogenic invasion. (Cozzolinoa et al., 2006). Scientific evidence indicates that E. purpurea causes a significant increase in the number of natural killer (NK) cells in vivo (Miller, 2005), and the potential anti-inflammatory effect of Echinacea extract is also considered, but this requires further analysis. In addition, the antioxidant effect of Echinacea extract, containing echinacosides tested in this respect, is indicated.

Reishi mushroom  enriching the composition of Cordyceps Immunity is called the divine mushroom of immortality. Reishi activates the immune system by stimulating macrophages, natural killer (NK) cells and dendritic cells.

Reishi has health-promoting properties thanks to its content, among others: polysaccharide compounds, e.g. alpha- and beta-glucans, coumarin and alkaloids. In addition, reishi mushrooms contain vitamins, minerals and as many as 17 amino acids.

Reishi is an adaptogen that eliminates the harmful effects of the environment on the body, and in combination with Cordyceps, it supports the body's harmony and youth.

Lactoferrin  is a biologically active milk protein that occurs naturally in cow and human milk. It is produced by neutrophils, i.e. neutrophils, which are part of the immune system and influence its proper functioning.

Lactoferrin stimulates the immune system to fight pathogens, prevents tissue damage associated with the aging process, affects the colonization of healthy intestinal bacteria and prevents cancer.

Recent scientific research indicates the beneficial effect of lactoferrin against the invasion of the Cov-2 virus, preventing it from replicating and entering the body.

Lactoferrin is a very important immunostimulating ingredient of the Cordyceps Immunity formula, known for its action from the first days of life (presence in colostrum and milk). Doctor Life lactoferrin is the purest lactoferrin available on the market with a purity of over 95%.

Cordyceps Immunity combines specially selected ingredients, known mainly for their immunostimulating and protective effects.
