What is iodine?

Iodine is a valuable element classified as a non-metal. In the human body, it is a trace mineral - that is, occurring in very small amounts, but at the same time necessary for its proper functioning. It is estimated that the human body contains only about 50 micrograms of iodine, of which as much as 75% is located in the thyroid gland.

How does iodine work?

Iodine regulates the synthesis of thyroid hormones - thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). The thyroid gland is one of the most important hormonal centers that manages the metabolism of the entire body. Therefore, balanced thyroid function is the balance of the entire body.

Half a tablet contains 260 µg of potassium iodide, equivalent to 200 µg of iodine.

Ingredients:  potassium iodide (iodine), microcrystalline cellulose.

Recommended daily dose:  ½  tablet with water. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day.

Note:  the daily dose is ½ tablet, which corresponds to 200  µg of iodine. One tablet contains two daily portions, i.e. 400  µg of iodine.
