SFD SODIUM BUTYRATE FORTE  is a food for special medical purposes in the form of tablets, which is a source of butyric acid, which is the basic energy material for the gastrointestinal epithelium. It belongs to the group of short-chain fatty acids, which are the main source of energy for colonocytes, i.e. intestinal epithelial cells.

Two tablets constituting a daily dose provide a dose of 480 mg of butyric acid with anti-inflammatory properties and supporting the functioning of the digestive system.

The role of sodium butyrate

The main effect of butyric acid is based on its anti-inflammatory effect, which is due to its ability to inhibit the secretion of inflammatory mediators in the intestinal mucosa. Additionally, butyric acid is the main energy substance for the cells of the large intestine (colonocytes), nourishes them and ensures proper functioning. Moreover, it reduces the risk of leakage of the intestinal barrier, which reduces allergies and inflammation.

Ingredients:  sodium butyrate, microcapsule shell (palm oil), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, acidity regulator: calcium phosphates, anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids. May contain cereals containing gluten, milk, soy, eggs and related products

Recommended use:  Take a portion of the product (2 tablets) once a day, during or after a meal, with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose (2 tablets). Use for 3 months or as directed by your doctor.
