Duoflexin® has two types of collagen of fish origin - Collyss™ collagen type I, naturally occurring in tendons and bones, and the CARTIDYSS™ collagen complex, containing type II collagen - naturally occurring in joint cartilage, as well as natural chondroitin and glucosamine, reinforced with an additional portion low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with high bioavailability and snail slime proteins. In addition, the composition has been enriched with synergistically acting ingredients:
- Natural vitamin C from acerola - helps in the proper synthesis of collagen to ensure the proper functioning of cartilage and bones
- Extracts from Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata), devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) and ginger (Zingiber officinale) - help maintain healthy joints and maintain their flexibility and mobility

Why is fish collagen better?
Most products on the market contain poultry collagen, obtained from chicken cartilage. The great popularity of poultry collagen is due to the fact that the raw material for its production is waste from the poultry processing industry, which in turn translates into the low price of collagen. Unfortunately, the modern poultry industry uses significant amounts of chemical feed additives to increase the efficiency of poultry farming - such as antibiotics and steroids - which may affect the quality and purity of collagen obtained from this source.
CARTIDYSS™ and COLLYS™ fish collagen is obtained from fish caught from their natural habitat - off the coast of Brittany and Normandy, France. Therefore, the collagen included in our product is 100% natural and free from any chemical additives used during industrial food production.
