TruMag® 815 is a unique, highly absorbable, patented ATA Mg® compound containing magnesium and taurine, which is a source of acetyltaurine (93%). 

It contains a magnesium atom bonded to two taurine molecules whose amine functional group has been acetylated. Magnesium is an essential cofactor for over 300 enzymes involved in biosynthetic processes and energy metabolism.

Magnesium deficiency inside the cell causes calcium overload, which leads to cell death. Taurine is one of the most common amino acids in the central nervous system. It plays a key role in brain function and acts as a neuro-osmolyte, neuromodulator and relaxing neurotransmitter. In addition, intracellular taurine reduces the production of free radicals during calcium cell penetration.
