Bacuri butter is very popular in northern Brazil. They are made from the seeds of local aromatic fruit with oil-bearing seeds containing about 75% of dark brown fat. Bacuri butter has a dark, chocolate color, sometimes almost black, and its aroma resembles strong cocoa. It is said to be a natural self-tanner because it gives the skin a beautiful golden color.

In summer, it is used as a remedy for insect bites and the rest of the year in the treatment of problem skin, arthritis and rheumatism. Due to the high content of lysine (an essential protein amino acid), Bacuri is used for acne skin care.

This brown butter, which at first glance can arouse great enthusiasm, turns out to be a great ingredient in cosmetics that eliminate scars, accelerate the regeneration of damaged skin, eliminate discoloration, stabilize the production of collagen and elastin, and are irreplaceable in the fight against herpes and eczema.

Thanks to the high content of tripalmitate (about 50%), it lubricates the skin and penetrates it very quickly without leaving a greasy residue. It is rich in methionine, belonging to the group of exogenous amino acids, which contains, among others sulfur is used to synthesize proteins, which accelerates hair growth, cares for the skin and allows you to maintain healthy nails.

Bacuri Butter is one of the best ingredients that we can imagine in the production of cosmetics for dry, high porosity or curly hair. In combination with e.g. coconut or castor oil, it creates a cosmetic that protects against protein loss, and by penetrating deep into the hair shaft, it makes the hair softer and more pleasant to the touch.

Bacuri is used in the production of anti-wrinkle coloring creams, body lotions, as a component of ointments and lotions for scars and stretch marks, ointments to relieve pain in Rheumatoid Arthritis, hair masks, softening skin cream.

When added to cosmetics, it improves skin tone, eliminates discoloration, reduces scars and prevents rapid loss of moisture. It is irreplaceable in winter, when the skin on the hands becomes rough, painful cracks appear and the color changes from red to purple.

Bacuri butter is a 100% natural, unrefined, cold-pressed cosmetic raw material, which we can use to produce our own lip balms, creams, emulsions and use 100% natural. With the addition of cupuacu butter, ucuuba and a bit of beeswax or soy wax, you can create a unique, fragrant cosmetic for the care of chapped lips, hands and the whole body.
