A unique black leaf tea with a very exquisite taste and low astringency. This is how the best black tea should taste like.

 

This tea is grown just 700 meters south of the Mount Kenya National Park border and not far from the Great Rift Valley .

In the immediate vicinity of rainforests , at an altitude of over 2,000 m above sea level, there are tea plantations.

 

Due to the richness and generosity of nature, the conditions here allow the cultivation of one of the best teas in Kenya .

 

Composition:

Leaf: mostly regular in shape, dark brown to black and malt flavor

Kenia Kangaita tea tastes best when poured with "white boiling water" , ie water that is just starting to boil.

 

Brewing method:

- put a teaspoon of herbs in a cup (240 ml) - for people who like a very strong infusion, we suggest one heaped teaspoon,

- pour over the dried with "white boiling water",
- steep, covered, for 3-5 minutes.

 

It tastes great with a little milk . To get the right taste of "English tea", brew a fairly strong tea and add 2-3 tablespoons of milk so that the color of the tea is golden!

 

Recipe for Natural Ice Tea:

Pour 1 heaped teaspoon of tea with "white boiling water" in a 240ml cup, up to half the size of the cup. Brew it and wait until it cools down. Then add ice (about 1/2 cup) to the glass and pour it over the cooled tea. The melting ice will dilute the tea, which in turn will make Ice Tea instead of essence. Must be served with slices of orange and / or lime.
