Guatemala Chepito specialty coffee - Dusty flowers - filter 250 g

Specialty coffee beans , roasted in a cozy Polish roaster from Guatemalan coffee beans. A real treat for fans of delicate floral flavors - present in honey and coffee. Coffee is seasonal and grown on a small plantation, so its quantity is very limited.

The plantation is located between the Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes, and the Cerro Balam Juyu biological belt. It is run by the likeable Jose Moreira, who is a graduate of agronomy at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala. Coffee is grown under the shade of chalumes and gravileas trees.

This is how our flight, called Chepito, was created. It is washed coffee with water supplied from five nearby streams. What's more, El Naranjo reaches for ecological solutions used in the world of specialty coffee. The farm produces hydropower powered by a pulper - a wet coffee machine.

Sensory Notes:

Guatemala Chepito is rich in volatile and floral notes . The coffee has the aromas of jasmine flowers, cornflower, followed by the sweet scent of muscovado sugar, clementine and pomegranate. The floral notes are best obtained when brewing with overflow methods (drip, aeropress, chemex).

The coffee is floral, with notes of very sweet fruit. Works well with all overflow methods.

We recommend:

Guatemala Chepito coffee, due to clearly perceptible, slightly floral notes, fits perfectly with our traditional honeys. Sweeten it with a bit of multiflorous honey, phaceli honey or a bit of hotter linden honey and feel like in a garden full of blooming flowers :)
