Wojciech Cejrowski a member of The Explorers Club in New York and the Royal Geographical Society in London. He lives on a ranch in Arizona and on his farm in Poland. The writer, entrepreneur and anthropologist organizes expeditions to the primal tribes. In the documentary series "Barefoot through the world", he shows you around the exotic corners of the world with fantasy and humor. This time it "shows and explains" Peru.

1. Cuzo

"Barefoot through the world" new series. I will take you to Cuzco - the Holy City of the Incas. It is high in the Andes and you need to acclimatize - I will show you how to deal with altitude sickness; in Indian. What to eat here? Hmm… Peruvian cuisine is a bit WEIRD. The mass of rainbow flags fluttering over our heads can also be a big surprise for viewers.

2. Coca

Coca - in Peru it is a sacred plant. Its leaves contain cocaine and are used as a stimulant. Wojciech Cejrowski will take you to the coca plantation, show you how to cultivate this plant, and we will take part in the harvest. We will check the current purchase prices and find out what coca is used by the Peruvians. How did he do it so that they were not afraid of the camera? It is not known - he has a gift.

3. The Couscous school

After the conquest, Catholic missionaries arrived in Peru. The first churches were built. The building material was there, but where to get the paintings on the temple walls? Single plays came from Europe, and then they were copied in bands - this is how the Kuskene school of painting was created. Works to this day. Wojciech Cejrowski will take you to several studios, he will show you how pictures are created and he will explain how to age them to make them look identical to the original 500 years old.

4. Chocolate factory

The episode is not only for children. Wojciech Cejrowski made it with his grandmother in mind, who bought cocoa in "bricks" and made chocolate at home. First, we will see how cocoa is grown, harvested and dried. Then, packed in bags, it will go to the old factory. Here, "massaged" turns into chocolate - white, milk, bitter.

5. Peru from the rear

Wojciech Cejrowski leads where tourists do not come. What does Saturday look like in the provinces and who hangs on the street lamps? What do the locals drink and how to make a Peruvian drink? We will also learn that in Peru people vote for "bolków" and "booths".

6. You don't want to be there

Wojciech Cejrowski leads to the Peruvian Amazon. Shows and explains where to stay. Humidity and nothing dries up, and mosquitoes fly in flocks - what to do? And something else for fishermen - how to hunt the largest fish in the Amazon, weighing as much as a calf.

7. Driving license for WC

We will travel around the city a bit (in a way that we advise against tourists). We'll look here and there. We'll take care of some errands. We will meet local people. We'll make a deal. And most of all, we will learn about the unwritten rules of the road that are in force in Peru. Wojciech Cejrowski will also obtain a new driving license. He does it in every country and has a whole deck of them.
