Milk Thistle Extract (Silymarin) 300 mg by NOW® contains milk thistle extract, dandelion root and artichoke leaf. Milk thistle seeds contain active substances from the flavonolignan group known as silymarin, the main component of which is silibinin (50-60%). Artichoke contributes to the proper level of lipids (including cholesterol) in the blood. It supports detoxification, digestion, secretion of gastric juice, maintaining liver health, and contributes to the proper functioning of the intestinal system. Milk thistle supports the health and detoxification capacity of the liver, digestion and the body's cleansing function. Dandelion contributes to maintaining the proper function of the intestinal system. It helps maintain a balanced physiological reaction of the stomach. It contributes to the proper functioning of the stomach and liver.
Content of active substances in the daily portion of the product: 144 mg of silibinin contained in silymarin from milk thistle extract.
