L-Ornithine 500 mg by NOW® (L-Ornithine) is an endogenous amino acid which, together with arginine and citrulline, plays an essential role in the urea cycle, freeing the body from ammonia - a by-product of protein metabolism. Because ornithine is converted into arginine, it may be helpful in maintaining the proper level of arginine in the body. Ornithine can also be converted into other amino acids, such as citrulline, proline, glutamic acid, or into creatine, an important source of muscle energy.

The production process did not use : wheat, gluten, soy, corn, milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans and tree nuts. Manufactured in a GMP facility that also processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
