Astaxanthin is a naturally occurring carotenoid that, thanks to its unique structure, plays an important role in protecting cells against free radicals and in a healthy immune system.
NOW® brand astaxanthin comes from non-genetically modified Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae, which contain natural lutein, canthaxanthin and beta-carotene. This is an extra strength product and has more than twice the astaxanthin content (10 mg per capsule) than our standard strength product (4 mg per capsule).

Other ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, capsule shell (gelatin, water, glycerin) and antioxidant: mixed tocopherols (as natural d-alpha-tocopherol). Contains refined soybean oil (non-GMO).
The production process does not use any ingredients derived from wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans or tree nuts. Manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility that processes ingredients of other products containing these allergens.
Directions for use: Take 1 capsule daily with a meal containing fat.
