A complex of carnosine, zinc and bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus reuteri

Zinc  helps maintain proper acid-base balance and proper carbohydrate metabolism. It contributes to maintaining the proper metabolism of macronutrients, fatty acids and vitamin A. It helps protect cells against oxidative stress.

Lactobacillus reuteri is a species of bacteria from the Lactobacillus genus that naturally inhabits the intestines of mammals. It was first described in 1980. It is used as a probiotic. Although L. reuteri occurs naturally in humans, it does not occur in all people. Therefore, in order to achieve and maintain high levels of L. reuteri bacteria, its supplementation is needed.
