Chlorella vulgaris is a green microalgae found in freshwater. It has one of the most complete biochemical profiles in nature. Chlorella Vulgaris is one of the few microalgae species approved by EFSA as a food or food ingredient.
Most Chlorella powders on the market are generally composed of protein, carbohydrates, fatty acids, minerals and vitamins.

- Antioxidant properties: Chlorella's potential antioxidant capacity has been attributed to the action of specific chlorella components such as chlorophylls, antioxidant vitamins, minerals and phenolic compounds

Chlorophyll:
Chlorella is the richest known source of chlorophyll, the "blood of plants" that gives it its emerald green color.
Chlorella cell walls have three layers, with the thicker middle layer containing cellulose microfibrils and the outer layer containing polymerized carotenoid material. This external cellular material most likely gives Chlorella its detoxifying effects.
The cell wall protects cell components from external oxidizing factors. Chlorella with torn walls is more sensitive to air and light, may degrade and have a lower content of vitamins and trace elements.
BeOrganic Chlorella was tested in an external laboratory specializing in the assessment of the properties of human food ingredients (AINIA), where chlorella was compared with a damaged wall and with an undamaged wall. The results show that in our product the availability of the KPI component (chlorophyll) was available in the gastrointestinal tract at a similar level, compared to chlorella with a damaged cell wall. In BeOrganic chlorella, the bioavailability of chlorophyll is about eighty times higher than in fresh chlorella and at the same level as in chlorella with torn walls. For this reason, breaking cell walls is not justified and can only have a destructive effect and reduce the content of active ingredients in the product.

Recommended daily dose necessary to obtain the beneficial effect of the product: 1-6 capsules during or after a meal with water.
