Skoczylas Buckwheat honey, 400 g

Buckwheat honey is obtained from common buckwheat flowers. In its liquid state, it has a dark amber colour, which becomes lighter when crystallized. Honey has an intense, sweet taste with a slightly spicy accent and a herbal aroma.

Buckwheat honey contains the following active compounds:

• vitamin C
• beta-carotene
• B vitamins
• zinc
• iron
• copper
• boron
• cobalt

Moreover, buckwheat honey has a high content of rutin, quercetin, and chlorogenic acid. 

Honey is an excellent sugar substitute and can be used to sweeten coffee, tea or desserts. It is also used as an ingredient of natural cosmetics such as ointments, masks and scrubs.
