Butyric acid belongs to the group of short-chain fatty acids. Under physiological conditions, it is produced in the large intestine through bacterial fermentation of dietary fiber. It provides the primary energy source for colonocytes – the cells of the intestinal epithelium. Sodium butyrate is indicated for gastrointestinal disorders and intestinal diseases.

Ingredients:  Sodium butyrate standardized to 80% butyric acid, thickener: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. 

Recommended dosage:  Adults: Take 1 capsule orally twice daily, morning and evening. Recommended use: for at least 3 months. Children over 7 years of age: Take 1 capsule orally once daily, preferably in the evening. Recommended use: for at least 6 weeks. Depending on individual needs, your doctor may recommend different dosages. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.

Directions:  Swallow the capsule whole with water. It is best to take it with a meal. This product should be used under medical supervision.

This product is not intended for parenteral use. It may pose a health risk if consumed by individuals for whom it is not medically indicated. Do not use in children with swallowing disorders or who have difficulty swallowing capsules. Remember that a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are very important and recommended.
