What is a mumio?
Mumio, also called Shilajit, is a black-brown resin-like substance that naturally occurs in rock crevices in some mountain ranges. It is made from the remains of plants, algae and lichens found in the nooks and crannies of mountain rocks, where over time, as a result of natural biological changes, they are transformed into mumio rich in valuable health-promoting ingredients. Among the numerous active ingredients of mumio, some of the most important are fulvic acids. Moreover, it also contains many other biologically active substances, such as phospholipids, triterpenes and phenolic acids. It is also rich in vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
How it works?
Shilajit has been used for centuries in natural Ayurvedic medicine as a remedy with adaptogenic, rejuvenating and immunomodulating properties - that is, strengthening the immune system. How is our extract obtained ?
Our extract is obtained from mumio found in the peaceful surroundings of the Indian Himalayas. In the extraction process, the only solvent used is water, and the final product is an extract standardized to 20% fulvic acids. The shilajit extract contained in our product is therefore 100% natural and does not contain any residues of organic solvents harmful to health.
